Why we started bmindful
A majority of our life is spent in a distracted fog. We ruminate about the past or have apprehension about the future.
Meditation offers a way to see through that fog by bringing our attention to the present. It also helps us cultivate The Big 3 that will help improve performance and general well-being.
The Big 3: Clarity, Stability, Strength
Clarity allows us to be an outside observer of our surroundings.
This gives us the ability to see what adjustments we need to make to succeed. It also prevents us from letting our ego & emotions dictate our decision-making.
Stability keeps us from falling off the roller-coaster of competition.
Science shows that meditation can re-shape the brain, including making the amygdala (the fear center) smaller. This helps us stay poised under pressure so that we can continue to compete in the present.
Strength in our mind helps build peak concentration.
Outlast your opponents by increasing the duration of your focus. Develop resilience to better handle adversity.
