How We Help
-
One major piece to creating a more vulnerable and communal environment is decreasing judgment - of ourselves and of others. This is where mindfulness comes in. Mindfulness helps us live in the present moment more often and helps us begin to see the world as it is versus how we judge it to be. The judgemental mind is what gets in the way of our ability to perform at our best because we are constantly our harshest critic. If we could stop judging ourselves so harshly, we could create space for us to not only perform at our best, but also find joy in the process. Once we stop judging ourselves so much and living more in the present, then we can show up for the people around us (including teammates or coworkers) in a much healthier and productive way

Description text goes hereOur team introduces several different sports psychology concepts, which we’ve learned first hand from some of the best sports psychologists in the space. We teach skills and lessons that range from, developing a better relationship with ‘failure’ and developing a growth mindset, visualization, self-talk, how to find the flow state, how to handle the highs and lows of competition, and more.
-
Our first step to fixing the massive mental health epidemic is bringing awareness to it. One way to begin doing this is by teaching people how to be more vulnerable and open about what they’re true internal (and external) experience is. bmindful programs and curriculum are geared towards teaching people how to build up the courage and develop the skills to be more vulnerable. One method we use to accomplish this is sharing our personal stories of how we struggled, and still do struggle, with our mental health.
-
Our programs are geared towards bringing teams together to create what coach Phil Jackson calls, “One mind”. A team with ‘One Mind” is one that has all the players in alignment on what goals they are chasing and that stick together no matter what comes their way. This requires the mental tool of compassion, which is a major focus of our programs. As we say, compassion wins championships
